The College of Engineering/Musayyab was established in 2014 by ministerial order, its one of the University of Babylon's formations, following continuous efforts by scientific competencies and residents of the Al-Musayyib district, as well as the direct support of Mr President of University of Babylon, Dr Adel Hadi Al-Baghdadi, and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Al-Musayyib is the second largest district after Tal Afar because of its engineering and industrial potential.

On the morning of Thursday, September 14, the Dean of the College of Engineering in Al-Musayyib, Dr. Wissam Jalil Khudair, received the Assistant President of the University of Babylon for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Salam Al-Fatlawi, and the manager on Dormitories, Dr. Yahya Al-Tamimi. The Dean of the College expressed his gratitude for this visit and the continuous support provided by the University Presidency, which helped the College to grow. and meet their needs. The visiting delegation praised the college’s achievements and the exceptional effort demonstrated by the college dean.
